Francesco Chiti obtained a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Florence (Italy) in 2000. He obtained his Master’s Degree in “Web and Wireless” from the University of Pisa (Italy) in 2001. In September 2001, he obtained a PhD in "Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering" from the Electronics and Telecommunications Department of the University of Florence. He has taken part in several research projects, including one funded by Marconi Mobile on UMTS System Study and Implementation; ETSI STF 179 on TETRA Release 2 TEDS Adaptive Link Control; COST 289 Spectrum and Power Efficient Broadband Communications; PRIN PATTERN; NoEs NEWCOM, NEXWAY; GoodFood FP6-Integrated Project.
