His two main fields of research are the analysis of relational qualities in the design project (referring to the entire product-system) and the investigation of the inferential relationship between art and design. He coordinates the Optical Frame Design Laboratory and the Bio Plastic Value research program on the possibilities of using bio-polymers in the product design field.
