Ester Iacono obtained a Master's Degree in Design at the School of Architecture of the University of Florence. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Architecture, majoring in design. She is a researcher in the fields of ergonomics for Design, Human-Centred Design, and Medical Design at the Laboratory of Ergonomics & Design, Department of Architecture (DIDA). She is a tutor on the “Ergonomics & Design” and "Human-Centred Design/User Experience" courses. She lectures on Interaction Design at AAP (Arts Abroad Project) at the Overseas Study Center in Florence Teaching Program. She has collaborated as a designer with professional product, graphic and communication design firms.
