Giuseppe Lotti

Giuseppe Lotti teaches Industrial Design and Design for Sustainability on the Degree Course in Industrial Design and the Master’s Degree in Design, and is coordinator of the Specialisation Course in Design for sustainable local development in Marrakesh (Morocco). He deals with Design for local development and cooperation coordinating EU projects – Life, Interreg – as well as national and local projects. He has worked in cooperation projects in Brazil, Morocco and Tunisia. He has curated exhibitions in Italy and overseas – The Beautiful Factory (Rio de Janeiro, New York, Perth), The shape of values and The home of values (New York, Canton, Moscow) – and he is the author and curator of publications on the design culture: Dinamici equilibri. Design e imprese, (with Vincenzo Legnante and Ilaria Bedeschi), Franco Angeli, Milan, 2012; Progettare con l’altro. Necessità, opportunità, ETS, Pisa, 2012. He is a consultant at Centro Sperimentale del Mobile di Poggibonsi – Siena, technical-scientific coordinator of CENTO, and the Centre of Expertise for the interiors sector, and head of the Giovanni Klaus Koenig Study Centre.
